James A Reed Help

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I need some advice. I am going to James A Reed conservation area today to fish. I have been skunked 3 times this season and don't want to make it 4. The temperature is supposed to be a high of 67 today and I am going from 2-5 pm. I intend to throw 1/8 oz jigs and T-Rig plastics at Catclaws lake. I might even use jerkbaits depending on water temp. Any advice on lures to use or which lake to go to? Thanks in advance.

Wish I would have seen this sooner, did you do any good?

No luck...Was out there for 3 hours, tried everything. Sure enough, when I was about to leave a crappie fisherman pulled out two accidental bass (one 12 in. and one 15 in. keeper) on an inline spinner, which I don't have any of haha. I was at catclaws for 2 hours and plover for 1 hour at the end.
