I'm just putting this to tell ya'll that this bass lure is second to none. I just nail the bass on this, big and small ones (but mostly BIG). I love this lure and if any of you are thinking about getting them i give them a 110% thumbs up. just throw them in any cover rigged waitless and twitch it a few times then let it just sink. Then HOLD ON!!!!! You will catch a bass on these a large percentage of your casts.

Playmaker, you sound excited and confident, and that's such a big part of fishing. Keep on catching them, and don't forget to try the 4 inch and the new 2.5 inch for dropshotting.  I have days on streams where the bass will ignore my topwaters, but inhale the fluke.  It's a dandy skipping bait also.

when summer times comes and the bass are semi-shallow and the grass is up , you have to have one tied on !!! a VERY productive lure . if you want to take it up a notch , try the double fluke rig (check recent past posts on this if your not familar with the rigging ) and you will be blown away

Just a flat out great lure that basically always catches bass unless the water is murky or heavily stained. Soft jerks period rule, especially for pressured bass. I usually use the 5", but I will use the 4" if I need a slower sinking lure and the bass are picky.  The 7" I've used for pike but have caught bass on it, and a 14" bass has no trouble engulfing it.

The zoom fluke has been an exceptional bass catcher for more years than I care to remember,

and in Florida the fluke catches bass 12 months a year. Here's what puzzles me though,

the 5 zoom fluke has been Done-To-Death, yet I see no one touting the 7 Magnum Fluke

x2 , pearl colored flukes and the albino colored ones seem to produce better than the natural colors 

I would think the 7" fluke in white pearl would be really popular in California in lakes where pigs get fat on stocker trout.

I even caught a smallie on the 7" last year, about a 2 pounder.

to my thinking , i throw big trout swimbaits , that big bass don't neccesarily think they are a trout ( the lakes i fish that are stocked with trout are 15" and up !!) but key in on them as being shad as they suck them into thier mouths rather than grasp them around the head of the bait . that is why i never "tex-pose" them ( after the hook is run thru the back and the hook point inserted just underneath the skin of the bait) but make sure that the hook tip is not in the bait but laying smooth on the back of the bait .

By far weightless with twitches, and long pauses.

The only flukes I ever use are 7". I still catch dinks sometimes with them. But I probably catch less of them then if I used a smaller one. But im not out to catch 12" bass so that's not a issue. If I see a dink actually bite a bait im using I generally don't even set the hook.

i've actually caught several this year doing the same thing, throwin em in the pad stems, using black ones, but the water is murky where i fish

The action is amazing, but cant seem to catch anything on them. Any other lure I am fine with.
