Anyone seen the videos of this bait? Looks very interesting, does anyone know how it adjusts from topwater to mid column or bottom crawler? Want to hear what you all think of it, would you try it?

I too was interested in it...however I got a lot of feedback saying that it fills with water too easily and rules out the column adjusting. I may pick one up but I kind of strayed from the idea now. If you do get it, report back please.

Supposedly the trick is in how much you water you put into it.

No Water - Acts like a wake bait with a slow steady retrieve, Rod tip high

Some water 50% - Can suspend and rise slowly.

Some water 80% - Can suspend with a slow to moderate sink rate.

Full with water - Bottom bait.  hop in and around cover.

Yea...but what i was told after pretty minimal use of it...the controlling the amount of water goes out the window and it turns to a bottom bait/slow suspending.  If I find it on sale some where I'll get one, but not for $13 a crack.  That's close to having 3 KVD 1.5's....

yeah, the place I was looking was 14.99 a pop too much for something that doesn't work correctly

I rather get 3 baits that do work to cover the water column versus one hypothetical case. lol

It's on my "If I find it on sale" list.  Seem to have a lot on that list.

Neat looking bait.  Not a new concept.  Back in the late 80's Norman came out with a jerk bait that you could add water to make it suspend.  It even come with its own little water injector, which was fun to play with.  While you could make it suspend at different levels pretty easy, the problem was that it wasn't that good of a bait and fish didn't bite it very often.
