I saw these at a fishing expo and it looked very good and I was thinking about buying one..has anyone used one before and how did it work?

I would look at other baits. RS isn't a company I'd buy from again.

Same here I would look else where.

I bought one last year ( proceeds to hit himself in the head), didn't look good in the water. So far everything I've tried from Reaction Strike hasn't been very impressive which include their paddletail baits & their Bluegill bait.

Try the BBZ shad, and trout type baits. Affordable and they catch fish. Also check Mattlures shad baits, he has some nice ones, again very reasonable priced, and can be rigged weedless..

Garbage, there are better for just a bit more money.

why do you all say its so bad? does it not look good in the water? does it catch fish at all?!

I've caught one fish on a reaction strike swimbait. And I feel like I could have thrown a brick in the water and they would have hit.

Put it this way; I was tossing a Bull Bream Jr. yesterday and it came snagged on a log. I immediatley broke the line and did a few fists pumps that I lost it. I was forcing myself to throw it.

I second the motion on a BBZ-1. I have the 4" one, and caught a 4 lb fish yesterday with it.

The ones I have are poorly constructed, the paint is in no way durable and flakes off with the first use, and every one I have swims on it's side.  I'd rather pay the extra for a Spro or even a TT Tru-Life, they actually swim properly.

Also, most tackle shops around here have them in the 1/2 off discount bin...what's that tell you..?

I gave mine away..in fairness, I gave it a chance despite the advice I was given before I got them, a total waste of 30.00..And if one breaks, good luck getting a replacment.. : Compare the RS 8" trout to the BBZ 8" trout..you'll see a Huge difference, not to mention the BBZ has much better action.

well thanks for all the advise i can say that you convinced me and I am not going to buy one!
