Anyone Use The Craw Formula Megastrike?

Featured Replies

For those that use Megastrike on a regular basis...have any of you used the Craw Formula?

Comparing the original Megastrike to the Craw formula, has anyone noticed one flavor assisting in more bites than the other? I'm planning on trying the Craw Formula out for the first time tomorrow and wondered if I can expect any significant difference in the numbe of bites over the original.

I use the craw formula on some of my jigs and trigs. I think it at times helps get more bites when the bite is really tough.

Well...regardless...it doesn't matter...my dog was table surfin and pulled the tube outside and chewed it all to h*ll...hope he don't get sick. Ill take what's left and put a little heat on it, liquify it and pour it in a small container like Smelly Jelly does with their product.Hope I can salvage the rest of this stuff...

I have both but I just got them over the past winter so this will be my first season using it. I'll let you know how it goes!

I just picked up the garlic scent, regular and craw formula. Never fished it before, and am going to try it this weekend. I'll also report back on my findings. I unscrewed the cap on the garlic and could smell that, however I don't smell any difference between the regular and the craw formula. The real question is how do you know which one is which in the boat unless you mark the tubes. It would be nice to have the scent marked on the tubes from the manufacturer.

Ya know I thought the same thing about the Craw vs Original as far as packaging goes...can't tell em apart...might want to take a Sharpie and put a big "C" on the lid?

That's exactly what I did.  I probably looked the tube over three times before I just decided to get out my sharpie and go to work.  I won't mistake them now.  :eyebrows:

To me the original forumla has a mild smell while the crawfish is a lot stronger.

My local scheels is now carrying megastrike products and I jumped on the crawfish attractant. I will be making my first cast of 2013 with a bait covered in megastrike come saturday.
