Mb Vision 110 Vs Lc Flash Pointer 115

Featured Replies

We have been catching fish since february on these two jerkbaits and even though fish are spawning where I live right now, with the crazy weather there are still pre and post spawn fish to catch.  The jerkbait bite has yet to slow down since february.  I myself love the 110 and have great luck with it but I do notice that the material the bill is made out of can chip pretty easily especially when fishing along riprap banks.  If you want a lure that has that similar eratic/darting action but is more durable check out the flash pointers.  Little less expensive, catch fish and last longer.  Just wanted to get some other people to chime in with their experiences with these baits.  Also, if anyone has used the excalibur eeratic shad, what you think about it?

Erratic shad is good, as is the McStick. But for a better 110, at least IMO, get the Luck E Strike STX. I've got a bunch of both those and the Visions and the STX outfish the 110's for me. Not sure why, but they work great. And only cost like $7 per. You'll want to change the hooks out, but that's true of every jerk bait, including the 110's and LC's.

The flash pointer is a great bait but I don't think it has the same action as the 110 so each one may catch fish when the other one isn't working well. If it's all about getting cheap then you could go down to the old standby Rogue also. They still catch plenty of fish and you can buy 3 of them for the price as one 110.

While I like the 110s and the pointers, this is my new favorite.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUO-REALIS-JERKBAIT-120-SP-Suspending-Jerkbait-/121055202357

They can be had cheaper than this at other places, and they have  great action and are much more durable than the 110s.

Wow!  That looks like a dead ringer for the Vision 110.  Have you caught any fish with it?  What color?

I don't like to bang up my Visions (and I can loan this one to my brother in the back of the boat so he won't break MINE!)

They have some great colors, match the forage in your area, I use a bluegill pattern and an all bait. They catch fish, bass and pickerel, probably equal amounts of both up here.
