Academy Has Its Own Personal Bait Monkeys

Featured Replies

i make a weekly trip to academy sports and it seems the sales never end, and every time pulls the plug on my wallet. last week it was xcaliber crankbaits regular 6.99 for 1.99.i bought them out.and big bite bait soft plastics for 1.79 a pack, now its zoom super flukes and lizards for 1.99 and i am running out of places to put them. i just don't think 60 packs of pearl white flukes and 30 packs of junebug lizards is enough. LOL. what will it be next week?

I'm in serious trouble, a store is opening up five minutes from the house. My wife is already worried

haha yea when my lady goes with me i get a non-stop eyeroll until we leave. i have a basspro, academy, and dicks  within 20 mins of my house and she hates every second of it. academy seems to have way better prices from what i have seen. i bought a new tackle bag this year at academy for 55 dollars and the same one at bass pro was 99. it seems to be a trend, although bass pro has a wider selection, academy has everything i could ever need.

I got some lizards as well. $2.99 for Brush Hogs and $5.99 for Spro Bronzeye Frogs is pretty solid too

They have been having some killer deals lately. I buy all my Havoc baits from them, except for one color, when they go on sale. It seems like once a month they are on sale.

Same here only about 10 minutes away. Now I will have 2 BPS, a Cabela's, several DSG, Roger's, and Academy all within 30 minutes of our house. I'm going to have to get a second job at this rate  :Idontknow:
