Gummy Worms

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever used gummy worms as a bait. Just was thinking about it, and it might work.

I guy once caught a bass on a bubble gum so try it, you never know. I might become the new lure of the year! :(

great idea. If part would get bitten off you could just eat the rest and use a new one.  The funny thing is that realistically it would probobly work.

My daughter always asks me to try it.  Maybe I'll let her this spring...

Hey, give it a try. it might work, bass being as dumb as they are. If it doesn't, at the least you'll have something to munch on between bites.

Cheers,

GK

Oh, take the hook out of the worm before you eat it.

I'm sure it will work, bass eat almost anything you throw at them.  I'd like to see a picture of a bass with a gummy worm in its lip.  ;D

Yes, I won a bet on this that is how I know. The ones I used had a very fast sink rate and no wiggle.

Not sure I would do THAT!:-P I might try fishing with some gummy worms next time I go, though...the sugar might help attract 'em too...maybe some catfish, too.
