Greens and browns on sunny days, black on dark days.

Any type of a jig would work very well. I would use a swim jig or a flip & swim jig.

The small lake also has a lot of pressure...does that change anything....and what color do you like to use

Black and Blue or a Peanut Butter and Jelly type color. I like Insanity from NorthStar.

Shouldnt make a lot of difference.

Ok thanks for all your help...what your favorite type of trailer when you use a swim jig

Up north I'd use a variety of lures in those conditions. Since the vegetation is submerged you can run shallow cranks and spinnerbaits right over the grass. Of course, jigs, soft plastics and assorted topwaters can (and should, in my opinion) be used as well. I'm not one who places a huge value on color selection.

5" SK Shadalicious tex-posed on a weighted swimbait hook. Slow rolled through the grass. Good stuff!
