Hey all, I have not been on here for awhile I have been working alot of ot and haven't even been able to fish alot. I was however able to buy a new drop shot combo for my upcoming trip to Erie! I got the new st. Croix legend tournament series rod in mlxf 6'10" along with a new shimano stradic fj. The combo is beautiful together and can't wait to fish it. Taking my son up to Erie at the end of the month and hope to have a blast catching some pigs on the new combo. Anyone with any hot spots that they would not mind giving up? Going out of presque isle bay. I have fished to cribs and the W's with some success would like to get off of the beaten path a little though! Anyway the rod and reel is absolutely gorgeous and can't wait to put it through some work!

Congrats on a class A outfit, I would say "it don't get no better than that" That is a dream setup, and you are going to love it!! I fish the western basin but know Captains that fish the central and eastern sections also, and as long as it is Lake Erie, it is pretty easy to say you are going to have no trouble breaking it in right!!     Hope you have a great time and stick a real pig, with that said,,,,,,,,hope your son hangs one just a little bigger!!!!

Thanks guys! My son doesn't fish much at all because of school and sports ( football, wrestling), so I hope he catches alot of fish and some biguns!
