First Finesse Jigs

Featured Replies

Tell me what you guys think. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Those look great, but I would trim the skirt a bit past the hook bend instead of having it so long.

I plan on trimming them. Right now they have just had the tabs cut off.

Good job,put a zoom critter craw or a small super-chunk for a perfect match. :idea2:

Nice jigs, Drew.  I would think twice about trimming up those skirts.  I do real well in the warmer months with a longer skirt and bigger trailer.  Once the water gets colder, thats when I like a more compact jig,

Whats the weight, hook size and how much!!!! Nice lookin jig for sure!!!! Dang good job!!!

Those look good!  I really like the colors on the first one.

I'd fish them! :) The first one especially.

The are a 4/0 hook on 5/16 and 3/8 oz round ball jigs.  So far I've used the 3rd (trimmed to about 1/4" past the hook bend) and last.  Both worked but still waiting for a fish to brag about.

Are you putting tension on the tabs before the cut? I pull mine that way every strand ends up a just a hair different length.

Those look awesome. Top quality jigs for sure.

I second that on trimming.  Sometimes you want that slower fall too.  That longer skirt will give you that option.
