Hes full of pee and vinegar yes, but he means well. Everyone I have talked to that has met him, says hes a good guy.

I'm very excited about this reel, I know I'm buying one maybe two just as soon as the "lefties" are out. I'm also interested to see what other gear Shimano has planned for the rest of this year.

 

I love Zona, he's funny IMHO.

Zona and Mercer need a show together for an entire season. I loved watching that Christmas bass show where neither of them could take their fishing seriously. The serious shows that go from hookset to hookset are rather . Most anglers today all know how to fish (far better than I'd like them to know) - but watching people have a good time and enjoying their friends while fishing? Freakin' awesome!

 

They seem to have similar sponsors anyways. Could only make arrangements easier.

Zona's is the only fishing show my wife will watch with me. The dude is pure awesomeness for me, but I could definitely see how he could be annoying for some.

Zona rules, the World's Greatest Fishing Show he did with Skeet is still the best fishing show I have ever watched. I'll be buying 2 of those Chronarchs when they come out.

Get paid to fish and fish some of the best and newest gear available. Yeah I'd be excited too.

I guess he caters to a different crowd than what I'm in. Sell me, don't yell on the product. I'm just a little too laid back for Zona's in your face style.

Agreed. And his intro to his show is kinda 90's Mr. Rogers feel. But he has lost some serious weight.

I'm really starting to drool over this new Ci4. My only qual is last year at icast we were introduced to the new Revos from Abu. I jumped on the wagon and ended up dumping every Abu product I had. I hope Shimano did their homework on this little hunny.

After all the "backlash" Shimano got over last years ICAST products I think it's a fairly safe assumption that this reel is right.

While I already have an understanding with Santa regarding the new chronarch I made an exeptional score today. I managed to pick up 2 NIB 100bsv Chronarchs from a local store that had them on the shelve for years. I believe that for under $100 each they should be able to entertain from now up to Christmas.
