Baitcasting Reel

Featured Replies

Well its been sitting in the shed brand new for a few months and i think i finally figured it out. I haven't got to test it out on the water yet though.

I tied on a spinner bait and was adjusting the knobs and and when i press the button it drops down smooth.

when i try something lighter like say a tube worm do i just play with the drag until that drops down as well and so on?

Not the drag, the spool tension which is the round knob next to the drag on  the handle side of the reel.

The star is usually the drag. So the little black knob. You adjust that each time you put on a new lure.
