Megastrike on Baits that already have scent

Featured Replies

Was wondering how Megastrike did on baits that already had scent on them, such as Berkley baits.

Ive used Berkley baits and they do fine all by themselves, but wondered if Megastrike would make them that much better?

Would the Megastrike mask the Berkley scent?

Berkley baits already smell. I dont think megastrike could mask berkleys scent. Its pretty strong

I know there are a lot of megastrike fans here, and I use it from time to time.  Just seems like all fish will hold on to powerbait longer than any other, and i dont want to screw that up.  Others with scent such as yum and rage products, I do add it it to.

Megastrike doesn't really have a "scent."  At least to me.  It seems to be more of a taste thing to fish that make them hold on longer. What it really is great for is lubing up baits so they slide through grass and all very easily.  The extra holding power is just a bonus.

I'll have to admit, I put it on my new rage tail baits.. ;)

I put a dab of megastrike on every plastic, whether it already has a scent or not.

Generally, JJ's Magic on jig trailers; MegaStrike on everything else.

Power baits have a very low dispersion rate.Megastrike has a quicker dispersion rate which will saturate the area around the bait(not across the lake so don't give any smart a$$  replies ) so that it will induce or entice a strike.

Berkley baits are very popular and have plenty of scent.  Bobby any update on the plastics?  You said week or 2 ago a shipment came in but nothing since.
