How do you all rig these baits? I just bought some, watermelon, and need some advice on how to rig them, which hooks to use, etc.

I mostly use a Texas Rig with 1/8-1/4 oz. slip sinker. I will also use on a Carolina Rig in the Spring.

thats all you need. and if youre fishing through cover, pegged bullet weight.

On a 1/8 or 3/16oz Spot Remover

1/8 oz. tunsten weight, unpegged, in or around weed patches.

Carolina rig, 4/0 EWG hook

Texas rig, 4/0 EWG hook, bullet sinker

Jig trailer

I rig them with a parasite weight, as heavy as needed to penetrate cover.

I love it unweighted... catches me so many fishes.
