Shaky Head Fish

Featured Replies

Im really starting to like this rig. Caught this pig yesterday on a 3/16 shaky head with a junebug finnese Fin-Eke worm, and darned if I didn't catch this girl at about three a clock in the afternoon ... it was like 97 degrees out! :) She was only a 7lbr, but she was almost 24" with a 16" girth!

Nice fish! :Copy_of_icon_thumleft:

haha yah, i just said that because if it were early spring, that girl probably would have weighed 9 or 10

Biggest bass I've caught was on a shaky head. Haven't fished it in a minute though - been running a c-rig and deep crank baits. Might be time to pick that sucker back up!

Nice fish. I was gonna say she would go 9 in the spring. How deep?

Believe it or not, I caught her in about 2 foot of water in the middle of a brush pile, and to top that off ... it was about three in the afternoon and 95 degrees!

Nice fish!  Shaky heads are great when the weather gets hot and the fishing gets tough.
