10 Lb Braid 832, For Shaky Heads

Featured Replies

good, line? will be running  it with a fluro leader part time. just trying to get super finesse cause this summer has been crazy hard. Stained water, if that helps

I like to finesse with 10# power pro. Not really a fan of 832, nor its price.

15# Power pro is on my senko/shakey head rod

I'm sure it will be fine. I use 20# and 30# 832. 20# is on spinning gear and I tie on a fc leader sometimes, use it for shakey heads and it works fine.

i use 6# /w a fluoro leader on one one of my spinning set ups /w a 7# leader.  i've dragged in 20# sheephead with this set up. 10# will be more than okay.

Im going to try the new sunlone sx1 finesse stuff thats yellow and was just introduced at ICAST. Its 10lb and 16lb and made specificaly for finesse on spinning outfits. Bright yellow for easy line movement detection but still invisible to fish. I think its gonna be some good stuff. TW is now carrying it

I have 10 regular Suffix in orange with fluoro leader on my shakey head rod and it works great.

I just got a new Kistler KLX ML spinning rod and spooled 10 lime 832 on it but haven't yet fished it. The brand new 832 already feels thinner and smoother than the well worn in regular Suffix braid

Wow!  Thanks for the heads up!   I'm now running the 12# Sunline SX1 on 3 spinning outfits and with fluoro 6# leader.  Casts great!!

The yellow should be even better for line watching on the shaky heads and wackies!!

I am getting the lime 832 aswell, gotta be able to see,  not to be  a OMG type of person but I think the lime will also go great matching the carbonlite and the daiwa lexa colors, lol....      off topic but I was fishin a rock drop off this evening and found the Missle D bomb creature stands straight. Looking forward to the megastrike EWG shakies. :)
