Cool Video On Casting Techniques With A Spinning Reel

Featured Replies

So I just wanted to aware you guys and girls on a video I saw which intrigued me a while back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyG15eud6PU  If you like using spinning reels as much as I do, or simply want an accurate cast for lighter lures you should give this a try. Feels a bit weird but I got pretty accurate after a few days of practice!

Pitiful, I didn't learn a thing.

In the first video you can't see what he is trying to do

and in the second he doesn't do it very well.

That guy got that bowl by stealing my lucky Charms! He's always after my lucky charms.

Question is why use a spinning reel when a bait caster works better for pitching and flipping ?

Why make it harder on your self

Maybe some people like spinning reels better and do not want to carry around multiple rods.

As I mentioned some people are not comfortable with a baitcaster...also I find light soft plastics work with better action on a spinning reel. Not to mention some people cannot afford quality baitcasters, in my situation it would not be wise seeing as I fish like twice a year. If you don't like the video why bother commenting man

Yea, I find usually most big youtubers have very good cameras/angles though

HEY, don't pick on little people man. Plus you look pretty weird yourself so relax

Ive done that before, l prefer spinning gear for most weightless soft plastics.

I've done that myself, if it works for ya cool.......For me it's simpler just to make an easy 1 handed side arm cast, back or forehand.  I am in the spinning gear camp, do not care for b/c.
