that is the topography map of a very common place to fish, contrary creek. Sam, has a lot of knowledge about lake anna and he should inform you soon enough

Haven't fished there as much as Id like, about the only deep spot I know of, is fairly close to the main launch ramp. If you leave the ramp an go left, angle across the main body of water to the next creek up on the right.. there's a doc on the main point, an off that doc, about say 50 yards the point drops into 15 on down to 19 if memory serves me correctly... on the first part of the drop, there's a couple of bush piles.... they held some decent fish last year for me in mid summer.  if you line your boat up with the house on the point and the point opposite of the doc it should put you inline with those brush piles, I found them with a C-rig, was fishing the doc in 8 foot of water an the wind blew me out away from it, an happened to come across it,  At the time I pulled 7 fish off it.. biggest being about 3.5, rest all solid 2 pounders. If you go up into that same creek on the left side is lined with docs, count 6 docs down.. an between the 6th an the 7th doc there's another set of brush piles, in about 11 foot of water.  Thats about all I know about deep water there.  Hope that helps some.
