Krocadiles or kastmasters as jiggin spoons

Featured Replies

It seem that the hopkins shorty and it's look alike partners are the primary choice.

But I was wondering if anyone used the krocodile or Kastmaster for deep winter jigging for largemouth

Wish I could. That's a deadly technique in a lot of our deep lakes during the winter. Need a boat though.

this was caught hopping a 1 oz. krocodile silver spoon on the bottom in 50 feet of water.

50 feet of water.  WOW

Any luck with largemouth bass with them?

I bet Kastmasters would catch a ton of white bass in the winter.  You can catch a boat load with Kastmasters here when they are schooling.

I like the action on a Kastmaster.  You can real it slow, fast, or just burn it below the surface.  I just haven't found the right combination for it yet.  I'm about to try jigging with it myself so I'll let you know.
