Hello, I have always loved fishing but this year I have really tried to get into more and I have acquired some rods, reels, boat (needs work and a trailer) and some fishing tackle.

I have watched many videos and am certain I am doing this wrong so I will search the forums for my answers and hopefully, I can learn more.

I have some lures I bought at a yard sale and I am curious to what they are, which forum would I need to post in to get help in identifying these lures?

Welcome to the forum, where in Alabama are you from?

rkana, you came to the right place to learn bass fishing.

Remember, bass fishing combines a science with an art. It takes time to learn but the rewards are outstanding and you will make a lot of new friends both on the Forum and when bass fishing.

Ask your questions and we will do our best to give you our input. Just remember there are no set rules in bass fishing. One guy's love of something is another guy's poison so be prepared to read many differing posts on the same subject.

Now, for the big question that I ask all Alabama guys and gals: Awbunn or Bamasux?????

Great you are with us and just ask your questions and chime in on the threads.

As Wiregrass asks, if you will add your physical location we can give you better guidance based on where you live and fish.

I updated my location, I am in Hayden, but it is called Blount Springs or Mt High, going toward Corner.

I grew up being an Auburn fan, I still consider myself Auburn but I watch or listen to every game both Alabama and Auburn, I delivered pizzas for about 10 years and I learned it helps to know who is playing and doing what.

War Eagle, I am an Auburn grad, and Auburn Student (UGH GRAD SCHOOL), you arent close to me location wise, but there are plenty of folks near ya on the forum. again welcome.
