OK, according to TV, these things KILL bass.  I did a search on "banjo" and found one post.  So, has anybody tried these things?  If so, what is your opinion?

Well this is one subject that will quickly be locked.  Before it does, all you need to know is that it may catch a few bass but other baits will work better.  It is pretty much a gimmick and is not worth the money.  I would check the FAQ's and you will find some good reading there.

OK, so I screwed up by not reading the FAQs on this first.  But I did a search TWICE.  Once I got 1 hit, and the second time I got 6, two of which were in this thread.  And NONE of them had any information.  So while I may have crossed a line here, I can't find the reason for the line being drawn.

The search is kind of tricky.  You have to make sure to select that you want it to find all posts.  you might have forgot to select that and it was only showing you the posts for the last week or so.

Its not really that serious.  This is just one of a few that gets brought up a bunch.

The one thing I like about the banjo minnow is how the rubber bond over the hook barb makes it semi-snagless.  I'm considering trying this rigging on other dropshot baits.
