Looking for tips to catch these things when they are headed to the deep? Fishing local 5-15 acre lakes

Look into the local forums under NE. They have a thread going titled "Who wants in" those guys fish your area and have been catching some really nice fish. Get to know them, and ask them your questions. I have never met them, but they sound like a nice group to get to know.

Anybody ever try using a bottle-rocket to get their line farther out in the water where the Summer bass are?
