I love how hard smallies fight, especially ones stacked up in a fast river waiting to ambush..I don't have a scale or a tape measure on me but I caught 9 in a hour all off the shore by this rock wall in the back of the picture. If I were to guess these both were 18' around, any idea on a weight?? Baits ranged from Bomber Square A cranks to cavitron buzzbaits..

 

Anybody else find a group of bass that just will hit any lure they see?

which river were you on? that bridge looks like the one right by where I stay. think its on river road or something like that lol. if thats what you're catching down there I'm gonna fish down there more often haha

I'd say 2.5 to 3 lbs, but in a month or two they'll weigh more!

I concur.  Their fight is downright awesome.  Even the dinks put up a nice fight.  LOL
