Good thing you set the hook or that frog would have been down in the fish's gut.

Went frog fishing for the first time this weekend. Found a nice cove in the corner of the lake filled with lilys.  Had four hits, but only landed one. It was small, but I still had the best time.  By far, it has become my favorite lure to toss.

 

I did notice that on my misses, the fish or the hook set caused some major snags requiring me to literally go get the frog by hand.  Was a buzzkill to go from seeing a top water strike to missing the fish to having to go personally retrieve the lure.  But nonetheless...had a great time.
