New Low Profile Baitcaster Reels.

Have you noticed the new low profile bait caster reels in the front look similar to the new front ends on our cars?

Every year, the earth moves 1/2 an inch further from the Earth.

It's for those windy days so there's less drag on the front of the reel for more efficient and longer casts.

Yeah, I have noticed the resemblance. Must be the same design teams doing both.

Maybe it's less drag on the boat when these streamlined baitcasters are on the deck when the boat is moving. But the front of these new baitcasters do resemble the front ends of the hondas, subarus and Nissan cars. The American cars too now.

It's an inverse spoiler design to funnel airflow under to spool during rotation to improve casting distance.

I just installed a turbo on my spool!

Shimanos don't look like cars.

But I still run 12 lbs of boost on my Curado E's.

Just an fyi, you can run up to 13 lbs.  And I have heard if you up size the flux capacitor, you can get 14lbs without having to adjust anything else!

Jeff

I had the flux with 14lb tune but I was casting so fast my fluoro was burning.

Had to tone it down.

There's no replacement for displacement ladies.

Wouldn't that just be an air freshener?

I'm not as smart as most of you guys,so when I fluxed my capacitor up,I had to call the Quantum mechanics.

I'm going to install twin turbo's on mine over the winter. Maybe a rear spoiler to go with the front end.

its imported from europe man, thats how they do it there.

My new 50 size Curado completely smoked the 200 in the 30 yard cast race.

Must be the smaller flux capacitor sending less jigawats into the turbospool therefore keeping a cooler line temperature.

Got a Chronarch on the way with HID headlights and 10" subwoofers in the back.

You must be a night fisherman?

You must be a night fisherman?

During the summers always, not during the school year.

Planning on rigging up at pelican 8 footer with lights for night fishing this summer.

No need with those HIDs on your Chronarch

But cars look like shimanos.

I'm going to put a 3/4in. spinner on my magnetic brake dial, led lights, cheetah print knobs (get to work Hawgtech), hydraulics on my reel seat, and a purple paint job on my max reels. It's gonna be PIMPTASTIC :dancing-baby:

That's why I take my baitcasters to Jiffy Lube for their annual grease job/oil change.
