Micro Guide Repair Kit

Featured Replies

hey I have kind of been looking online for extra micro guides. Had one break off my Duckett fishing rod. Cant find any repair kits on bass pro shop or tackle warehouse. Anyone know where I can find one or what I can do??

tip or a running guide? if its a running guide youll need some thread, finish, the guide and a spatula(mcdonalds coffee stir stick makes a good one) or so...if its a tip you just need some tip glue and heat...check out mudhole.com

There's only about 20 or so models to choose from. Find out which one it is and go the mudhole route. Or, find a local builder to do the repair. It'll probably be cheaper in the long run if you don't already have finish and thread. Shipping on the guide alone will likely cost more than a local repair shop.

Duckett has a 20 year warranty. Talk to them, and see what options they give you, too.

Warranty or not, it'll still be more cost effective to repair it locally than ship it back.

and if you have it done by a local shop you dont have to learn and test on your rod and hope for the best

But it may void the warranty. What if it breaks 6" from the tip? Then he's got a $150 tomato stake for the garden.

He needs to find out. Some manufacturers will even provide the guide.

As a custom rod builder I'll bet this one step wasn't taken...

In order for our service center to properly
Register your rod please return your
Warranty card promptly to:

Duckett Fishing Warranty Service Center
P.O. Box 177
Demopolis, AL 36732

Without that card I bet there is NO 20yr warranty........:Victory:
