Well its been 2 years since i been back to michigan and its been awesome. Caught plenty of bass and salmon already. Been telling people for 15 yrs that salmon will hit a lure but still hardly anyone believes me. Heres some pics.

Looks like you got some eatin to do. Do Michigan salmon cut red when they're that color. I'm from the west coast and am curious.

No its like a whitish pink. Not like the alaskan salmon we used to catch nice bright red. But still tastes good. So far caught 8 myself this year.

Dang kiddo, i've seen some big salmon pulled out of the grand this season but nothing that big!

Taste good? Those zombie kings are nasty mush. If you catch them early enough, they're not bad on the smoker. Much better when they're still silver.

Cleary largemouth are named for their over-size yap.

Out west I've seen people keep salmon that were so turned (black) that I thought there heads would come off the bodies as they carried them!!! UGH

lol thanks guys. ya they taste great when cut into steaks and go into a frying pan with some seasoning, flour, butter and oil.

People don't believe you can catch salmon on lures? On the Lower Niagara the most popular thing to use is J-13 plugs and huge spoons.
