IMO the ALT isn't anything special, but the ltx is a thing of beauty I own one swell as an ltz

just a heads up. i just today saw that TW now has the JDM revos.

I'm eyeballing the revo elite right now. Does anyone know if this is a limited time thing?

Actually, they have sold them in the past, and Abu is beginning to market them in the US.  Though, technically that makes them USDM reels, lol.

Its a limited quantity thing, I'm waiting for BPS to get them - TW costs way to much shipping to Canada for me.

Did you try the *.com? I suggested it way back when, but they have had them for awhile now. 

BPS in orlando has them in stock and on display. Interesting spools, bling. Sadly the Alt had grey plastic take down knob.

Also does anyone know the difference between the ltx and mgx. As far as I can tell it just has a more shallow spool and mag brakes vs the ivcb

Actually if it doesn't have Swedish Enginered (with the sheild) on them, IMPO it isn't ABU anymore.. 

True, true, lol. I was referring to the JDM Daiwa reels that moved out at a significant discount a few years ago.

The Revo Alt is in tackle stores now.
