Hello,

 

My name is Jake, I'm from outside of Allentown Pennsylvania.  I take my boat to nearby Beltzville Lake and Mauch Chunk Lake, but I LOVE to fish for smallmouth bass at Lake Wallenpaupack which is quite a bit away from home.  I am ninteen years old and still in college.  I work on the weekend and fish after school whenever I can. 

 

My love for bass fishing has recently been amplified due to my recent purchase of a boat (2008 Bass Tracker 175 TXW with a 50HP Merc).  I love it!!! 

 

I am excited to learn from and also add to the priceless database of fishing information on bassresource.com.

Good old Beltzville, if you can beat that lake consistently you can beat most lakes. And Wallenpaupack is definitely a favorite of mine! I'm there all the time.

Thanks for the welcome! I love Wallenpaupack also!  But after spring I had a hard time finding fish this year.  I do admit that I am not very good at fishing deep structure and mostly stay shallow.  How did you do this summer?

Not bad but not great. Although, my friend and I finished second in the Lackawanna Bass championship there, 14.22 lbs for 5 fish. I'm just trying to get better at deep structure fishing myself.
