Alright guys got another question. Everyone knows im a lews guy but i have a revo stx generation 3 that i bought a couple of years ago. it was good for about 6 months then wouldnt cast very far at all. I've cleaned it and everything. i plan on using this for flipping so i dont have to cast far but would like to know how i can fix it myself to make it work like it used to. should i put boca bearings in? any advice please let me know.

There is probably a fundemental cause that does not involve your bearings.

Did you pull up the schematic and pull everything apart and put it back together?
