Walking Barometer

I can almost always tell when it is getting cloudy and the barometric pressure begins to dip without even going near a window.  I get lethargic and...well, depressed.  It isn't reduced sunlight per se as, like I mentioned, I can be in a building shielded from outside windows and I can still detect a change in my mood.  Anybody else get SAD or anything akin to it?

Never gave it much thought. Then again 90% of my day is spent outside or somewhere close to it.

When I lived in WV I would get seasonal depression, (at least according to my bride) living in SC, no. I can detect changes in barometric pressure but that's due to all the metal I have in my spine and associated arthritis.

I can detect it in my mood and my joints. Perhaps the right joints and my mood would be better.

You must have arthritis

In my hips and left shoulder, yes.

Sounds like a case of moody joint.

I can start to tell when the migraines kick in. my mistake mood can be the weather, migraine or some combination....

I have always thought I could feel my energy going- almost like a blood sugar crash.

I usually get excited when the baro-pressure drops! I look for any opportunity to get out and fish

But yeah, other times I can tell when a front is coming through. Can be lethargy, headache, etc.
