Got My First 8" Hudd Fish

Not the giant I was hoping for but it was still awesome to get one on it! Fishing a strip pit in SE KS, it was about 26' deep and she caught it on the drop and just swam off, I set when I saw my line start to sink a lot faster. Between 19 and 20 inches and 3.88lbs. Hopefully be many more to follow!

Awesome fish!

Nice to break that bait in!! Good job! I'm still looking for my first 8 inch hudd fish

Nice fish. She definetly took that big bait down the hatch.

Nice! Better than my 8" triple trout skunking this morning haha.

Nice one blue! Keep chucking!

Nice man!

Glad to see I'm not the only one doing the "cross the bibs so they don't slide off my shoulders" dance.

Only way to do it man. Drives me crazy when they're sliding off my shoulders and constantly having to be readjusted. Saw a guy with the straps like that at weigh in one time and it was a serious life changing moment in my fishing life.
