Poor Mr Rodgers

Featured Replies

I don't feel sorry for the guy. I am even a packer fan. The worst part is. People up here will act like its the end of the world. Him or the packers do not pay my bills. So life must go on.

Beardown.

As a fan it's frustrating to see him injured, but its directed at Ted Thompson.  Having a viable backup qb is hard, but the pack really messed it up this off-season with Harrell and Young, then bringing in Wallace at the start of the season.  I'm waiting to hear if they try to pick Flynn back up.

Wow, I'm not a Packers' fan, but I still feel sorry for the dude.  You have to hate to see anyone get hurt and not be able to play.

Broken collar bone. They better sign a new QB really quick if they want to save the season.

As a long time Bears fan it has been frustrating watching the Packers go from one future Hall of Fame QB to a second one without missing a beat. Since 1992 Favre or Rodgers have started 371 of 373 games including the playoffs. During that same time, the Bears have had 26 different starting QB's. Although you don't want to see players hurt, I'm not unhappy the the Packers are going to experience what the Bears have suffered through even though it might only be for a few games.

Obviously, injuries are the hardest on the players. But this season has more injuries, or so it seems.

It ruins the game for the fans. I wanted to see how far the Bears could go with a healthy Cutler, or the Packers with Rodgers, or the Colts with Reggie Wayne, their best receiver, and so on and so forth. Oh well, it's part of the game but it definitely detracts from this fan's experience and can drastically alter the playoff picture.

I don't like seeing anyone injured but as long as he is out this next week against the Eagles i am happy :)

It didn't ruin the game for me. The Bears would have lost if Rogers had played the whole game.

they won't go to flynn. he has too many "sore elbow" problems while just raking in his guarantee. they most likely will roll with the "next man up" slogan they are known for. wallace didn't look terrible throwing the ball (his 119 yds says otherwise) but you could tell they didn't want him to throw it with what i'm assuming is a very very limited amount of throwing practice /w lacy running as much as he did. the WR core is in rough shape anyway. boykin/white in the absence of jones looked good but that was with rogers at the helm. jordy will jordy and jones/boykin are a toss up. he seemed to lean on the back up TE Quarless or however you spell it but most back ups lean on the TE anyway. at least they have a solid running game finally. They have a lot of division games coming up so I actually could see them finding a quick replacement if wallace turns into what flynn did in oakland.
