Does anyone know more on the rod that come with this set up? Trying to decide what Applications this would be best for and I need a cranking set up.

Is this Mettle the same as the silver non-camo one?

    I believe the camo is the same as the silver one. And it's a pretty nice reel. I don't know anything about the rod that the combo includes though.

    That rods are decent, probably could get a pretty fair moving bait combo at a great price. Don't think I'd be looking at one for feel baits though.

    I assume the rod is the mh fast, not the crankbait rod. The rods normally go on sale a few times a year during their rod riot.
