I was fishing a fat albert texas rigged saturday.  I was getting tons of bites but I was missing a lot.  What is the best hook for these types of grubs?

I fish them on a 4/0 shaky head.

If I use a wg hook I use about a 2/0

I just sorted my "catch" log - so far this year I've caught 789 fish on 5" grubs - most rigged on a 1/0 EWG. Fish caught on this hook size range from 6" bass and 7" brim up to 3lb bass.

the ball jighead with 60 degree eye or 90 degree?

Most of mine have 90's but they do tend to catch more grass. Either one will work.
