strange colors?

Featured Replies

ok so i bought these strike king cranks, in a 3$ bin at gander mountain, and they are in colors ive never seen in these baits. both are series 5, the first one is a sexy shad with a rash(lol) that i bought in... march? and the 2nd is chrome with a black back, i bought that saturday.

my question for you is: whats with the colors? theyre not listed in the strike king virtual catalog, and i havent seen them on any site, or any other store... are they gander mountain exclusives? Or maybe strike king "experimental colors" that they decided not to produce?

i like the colors, just thought it would be a good topic  :( what are your thoughts??

IDK but that chrome/black looks ridiculously sweet

Maybe that's why they were in the 3$ bin?

I know what you mean though, I bought some bluegill-ish colored red eye shads at Wally world and weren't official colors everywhere I looked.

More than likely it is what you said about them being experimental colors and not being mass produced.  That sexy shad with the rash looks a little psychedelic lol.  I am digging the chrome/black back though.

That top crank gets bit.   :-X

Gander Mountain and Dick's sometimes has exclusive colors with lure manufacturers. This may be the case, normally they will say on the package that they are exclusive colors for _______.

that top crank reminds me of "tomato shad" by LC

not exact but same concept at least... at the color does get bit i agree. :-X

More colors i found that i bought a while ago...

the first is a series one, in a "bleeding sexyshad pattern" Double click the first picture

the 2nd is a series 4s, which to me looks like a "chartreuse shad with red glittered back"
