Line Spooler

Made this today with less then $4 in materials minus the pieces of 2x4. I made it to be screwed down to my work bench but until I get it where I want it,it's portable. It's ugly but works.

Slide your spool of line on and tighten the wing nut down to the proper tension. Set it on the floor and begin spooling.

Feel free to move if it's in the wrong section.

I have a bunch of those L brackets 2x6's and some bolts laying around I think I might build me one of these, good job though it came out pretty nice

I don't have any children and a lot of the times I find myself messing with fishing stuff @ 2-3am

Awesome idea dude, I was just messing with you.

This is great. Gotta do this myself! I hate bothering family members and friends to hold line for me while I spool it on my reels

Haha I know. I was just saying when I get the urge to tinker it's not always at times when help is available.

I like it.Nice and simple. This site needs a do-it-yourself section for things like this and other good ideas.Gonna tinker around and make myself something now..

Yeah a DIY section would be a great thing.

I wouldn't really consider that a DIY section since it's all based around making lures, baits, rods but thanks for the heads up.
