Help me with this one. I can get either a new Tatula type R or a TD-Fuego used but in like new condition for around the same price. I like to tune reels so the Fuego would be a good choice but the Tatula r is a great reel also. Give me some suggestions everyone.

Buy the Fuego.  They are getting harder to come by and you can buy a Tatula any time you want.  The Fuego is a great reel.

I prefer the Fuego. Smaller size with a ton of spool options. If you plan on doing upgrades the Fuego is a great reel to start with. The only thing I don't care for is the stock handle, but you can purchase a handle replacement for pretty cheap.

Fuego baby. Get it tuned and upgraded and you won't be sorry

if you like to tune your reels, get the fuego...so many options and possibilities. i regret ever selling mine.

Get the Fuego and a 100m spool, these cast very well.

I am with the other guys on this one. Fuego for sure. Add some Hedgehog bearings and a 100m spool and it turns into your personal little red monster.
