Edwin Evers - 2013 Bass Angler Of The Year...

Featured Replies

According to the latest episode of Bass Pros. Did I hear wrong? Did anybody else catch that?

Dang. I don't get Bass Pros anymore -- that I know of. Used to be on Versus, then NBC Sports, which promptly screwed up the fishing show lineup (IMHO!!!)

Ouch, I haven't watched the newest episode yet.  That's just adding insult to injury though.

It's on Outdoor Channel now, I believe.  Big screw-up on their part, nonetheless.

You may have heard incorrectly.  Evers finished second to Aaron Martens last year.  I think he had the lead going into the last event and Martens pulled it out.

Which is why he made the thread in the first place.

Yeah Martens definitely won, but Ott Defoe introduced an Edwin Evers segment with, "the 2013 B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year"

Yeah, I caught it. My guess is they taped that intro when it "looked" like EE was a lock for AOY and it slipped by them in post production.

Man, how do you let that one slip?  Do the pros get to see their segments before they're aired?  I'd be embarrassed if it I was EE.
