Post Pics Of You Fishing As A Kid!

Featured Replies

Like many of you, im sure, a lot of the enjoyment of fishing is the nostalgia and memories.  I got started fishing when i was 3 and by the age of 6 i had learned how to texas rig.  i imagine the bass in these pictures were caught that way.  The perch was caught on a crappie jig if i remember right.  I was 7 in the pic with the red shirt and 6 in the other 2.  Puts these pics at around '87-early '88.

I would, but they didn't have cameras when I was a kid.

Yah Hootie, you were too quick. The best they could hope for when I was a kid was someone with a fast crayon

Dang, Hootie, you beat me to it.

I don't think I have any but this will be interesting!!

Great photos guys! Fishing as a kid (especially with Dad) is such a universal thing. I'll have to dig through the photo albums today and see what I have to contribute. :)

I wish it was more so. Nobody in my immediate family fishes, but after reading Gary Paulsen's hatchet, I decided to teach myself. BR has made it so much easier
