Does anyone know retail stores (Dicks,Scheels,Gander Mountain, Farm and Fleet) etc. Where you can find fishing Apparel for the major brands such as: Abu Garcia, Berkley, St Croix, Gary Yamamotto, Lew's, Pfleuger. Looking for t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts..

I am wondering if there are any good stores to purchase in store, versus buying online and paying shipping fee.

Thanks

I know Dick's always has St. Croix t-shirts for sale.

Dick's has a hit or miss supply and then finding your size is unlikely.  I did once find a St Croix hoodie there for $3.97 (not a typo that's three ninety seven!!)

Online is going to be the best bet for this stuff.  Bundle enough together to spend $50 and most every place gives you free shipping.....

Unless I am being compensated, I have no desire to wear clothing with logos that pimp various products while I am fishing.  On the subject of fishing clothes,   I would like to get a good SPF 50 or so fishing outfit with a shirt & shorts that match.  I like the look of shirts & shorts that match as opposed to separate colors for the shirt and the shorts.  Also, while we're on the subject of fishing clothes, back in the 70's, cheap polyester, baggy, one piece jump suits were readily available.  These made great bank fishing clothes and when you were done at the end of the day, you got back to your car and it only took a moment to get out of the dirty jump suit and into a clean one.  I miss these suits and they are hard to find these days.  These were practically a summertime hippie uniform for me.

I know it's online, but look at tackle warehouse. They've got stuff from all the brands and free shipping if your order is over $50. That way you're not having to order a bunch from each brand to get free shipping.

BPS has about as wide a selection as anyplace I have been, but I find it more convenient to buy on line (doesn't have to be BPS) and not have to drive an hour each way.  I wear long sleeve t shirts a lot, I'm particular on the ones I prefer both for fit and quality and not the logo, for me it's Penn.  I only wear cotton, even the newest wicking materials are too hot for me.

Not to hijack the thread, but my grandson who is 7 and I were watching Bass Pros fishing on TV and he thought the Pros were race car drivers because of their sponsor shirts. He would love to have a shirt like that to wear when he fishes with me. Kids are great! Anyone know where I could get something like that? I picked up some assorted patches at BP, but need something better than just that. Thanks!

There are plenty of places that make them. Some of the major companies that do are Gemini Custom Apparel (they make all the BASS jerseys), The Winnin Team (all FLW jerseys), Rayjus, Atomic Bass Fishing Apparel. I'm sure that there are a few more but I know these are the big ones. I've got jerseys from all these companies, and I can honestly say they're all top notch and they make great jerseys. The other thing that you need to be aware of is that they are not cheap. You can get some semi-custom jerseys in the $60 range but full custom will be closer to the $100 range if not more. Also, you're going to have to get approval from the companies to use their logo to have the jerseys made.

Isn't interesting how with the logos on name brand companies get us to pay them to advertise their products?

Just eBay fishing patches, and get a blank Flexfit hat. If your wife can sew just get her to finish it, or put them on any shirt. I like the old style look of the Rebel Lures patch on my hat's and other various companies like Water Gremlin.

Look on tackle warehouse  for fishing apperal, and if you have an Academy Outdoors try there. Good Luck.
