How many of you flip and/or punch with other than braid?

 

What line and test?

Flip and pitch you can use fluoro for sure...punching is braid

I know guys who punch with fluorocarbon, I don't do it, but it works for them and I have never heard them complaining about it.

I use braid mostly. But have been known to use 20#Sniper

20-25# Fluoro/65# Braid

flip and pitch i use floro or a hybrid like yozuri, for punching is mainly 50 lb braid, but i have used 20 lb mono and it worked well.

On such short distance presentations like this I wouldn't be bothered by using 17-20lb+ mono, and I have in the past many times.  Now days I use 50 or 65lb braid.
