Anyone ever heard of this.  Picked one up used at a pretty economical value.  Just curious about it.  Cant seem to find any information anywhere about it.

Are you sure it is not a C3? Never heard of a G3! Is it a round reel?

The C looks incredibly like a G!! Upon closer inspection it is a C!  However, no it is a casting rod not a reel.  But after searching now, I would imagine it must be the rod to match the Abu Garcia Amassaduer C3? But still no info about the rod itself....that I can find.

Can't help you with the rod. I do know the reel is however one of the best round reels out there!
