I picked up a couple Bagley balsa b's from a yard sell and was wondering if y'all could tell me a little about them like what year range they were from. Thanks

That model is from the late 90s/early 00s. Made in the Dominican. I bought every one of them I could find, I think they are great baits.

Really? Would you be kind enough to share your source with me? Even though this isn't an original Bagley it's still a cool bait and only cost me $3. Wish the guy had some more of them.

The shop hasnt been open since fall. When I see its open again Ill stop in and shoot the bull with him and make sure he still has some. Last time I was in he did.

The old "Honey B's" are one of my favorite "finesse" cranks.

Bagley's burned down in the late 70's and restarted production agian in the early 80's. The Balsa B was one of the first square bills that would "hunt" swim in a zig zag pattern on it's own. If you have a B that hunts it's worth some money, if it doesn't they get resold. The originals B's are single line tie square bills.

The brand new ones have gotten bad reviews -  quality issues.  I have seen multiple reports of the baits splitting/cracking... I bought some, but haven't gotten to try them out yet... As for the ones you got, they are very good baits. Are they the quality of 70s Bagleys? No, nothing is.... But they are at least $30 cheaper and fun as heck to fish.
