Suggestion For Lens Color In Spare Pair Of Fishing Sunglasses

Featured Replies

I have a pair of 580G Costas in Green Mirror and a pair of Eye Surrenders in the Amber lens.  Would like a third pair to try another color lens.  What would be the better color to round out my collection so I'll be ready regardless of the lighting scenario.  Looking at Eye Surrenders since they are cheaper.  Trying to decide between the Red, Blue Mirror, and Copper lenses.  Suggestions?

I was gonna say amber but you have that covered. My ambers in Costa Wave Killer frames. Have you tried Costa's amber?

Have not. Already got the 580G green mirror. Wanted to stick with the eye surrender to save money. I have amber in that frame and it performs really well. Maybe not a costa, but my green mirror is my primary lens. Just wanted to see if having another color (copper or red for instance) for other situations would be beneficial.

I had red/vermillion lenses on a pair of glasses that were superb. Sharp, excellent in all light conditions. Sadly, they are sitting at the bottom of a lake. *sniff*

I have a hard enough time sometimes keeping track of one pair of sunglasses to have ones with different lenses but I do agree with you that a variety would be nice.

My primary colors are gray for sun and yellow for overcast. Works for me.

Solar Bat Grey/Blue mirror for bright sunshine.
