I fished a small lake saturday its around 1000 acres, the water temp was 49-52 depending on where i was, we caught 10 all together. The big ones came from spinnerbaits and my custom painted crankbaits. 2 of the fish were around 5 1/2 lbs and a couple 3 lbrs

Im from the northeast too, west virginia its the most southern of the northeast though.

Very nice, I'm jealous. Can't even fish bass here until June and I'm going stir crazy.

Thanks guys, i got sunburnt that day it got almost 70° then sunday it didnt make it out of the 30's now today we have an inch of snow!! Crazy weather. This will shut the bass down

One time I was holding a fish like you guys did for a picture and someone told me it can dislocate the fishes jaw. Im not sure if it's true or not but just incase I stopped holding the fish like that. Is this true?

If thats the case i have 15yrs worth of dislocated bass jaws. Thats the first ive ever heard of it..

That's OK. It's all part of the Springtime ritual. Some gorgeous days followed by harsh weather. That's the different weather patterns fighting over what the temps feels like.

Yes sir, it was a megabass clone i thought of a pattern/color ive never seen on the shelves, bad thing is ive caught 13 bass so far this yr and 10 were on that new color and the smallest was right at 3lbs... needless to say i have about 15 of them in my tackle box and all of my buddies have bought a few...
