Under Rated Hardbaits

Great stuff, Guys.  It seems like a common theme with a lot of the choices is- good value for the dollar.

Pop-R's, Storm Lures, Speed Traps. SK pro model 4s shallow are some of the under the radar lures I think of, too.

Rebel F4901 Minnow

My original Fred C Young Big-O hand signed crankbait. To me its the holy grail of cranks, it only catches LM's 3 lb+ . Its amazing.

I still have 2 of the original Big-O's and they still are among the best. Storm and Rebel cranks still produce. To many fishermen get caught in the hype of todays market.

The Luhr Jensen Kwick Fish is an old favorite.  Mostly the old balsa ones, not the new plastic baits.  I haven't used one in years, but back in the day they were the heat.

Pictures?

just checked this post, at work now, will post pic tonight :)

Here's another for Storm. Especially Wiggle Warts both old and new.

storm maybe under rated in most of the country but a WW is probably the most thrown bait on table rock lake in MO during the cold months there are even stores that still carry the originals in original colors new in box and they go for like 20 bucks a pop

Amen to that, I will throw LOZ in there as well for a place that you GOTTA have a Wig Wart on in the spring.  I always have a healthy supply of the various crawfish pattern WW's for my spring trip to LOZ.

I don't know about "underrated", but if I could

chose just one lure to own it would be the Megabass

PopMax. For the rest of the water column, LC Pointer,

Norman Fat Boy, XCalibur Xr50, Bandit 200 or 300

and the DD22.

8-)

I totally agree with $4 Wiggle Wart! Second, any lure that doesn't have a "sexy-shad" color.

Rapala X walk-13 in glass ghost. I dont care for the smaller rapala spook style baits (skitter walk, smaller x-walks),or any other color rapala makes, but this combo is special to me. It looks exactly like a big, bleeding shad. Has a great knocking sound. And works in a variety of water conditions.

Ive caught some toads on them. Originally I got it for stripers but found the LM's like em' too.
