What are you buying your mum for mother's day? Only a month left before the big day?

My five year old is giving his mum a pair of Prada flip flops.

My unborn son has decided he is giving his mum a tap dance and heartburn apparently.

I'm giving my mum new under counter lights in her kitchen.

My wife is giving her mum a bottle of bar b que sauce and a bottle of dry rub.

Just checked the date, May 11th. This just happens to be my last day of college, guess I am getting her a degree....

 

All kidding aside, now that you reminded me I will figure out something.

I generally get emailed a list of potential presents. If not a Yankee candle and a card. Oh and lugging her a/c's up 2 flights of stairs.

That reminds me. I have to weld and paint my gifts this week. I made some roses out of steel for my grandmas. My mother will just get a call.

Well I can give you a rough idea of what they look like.

I made them out of 1/8 in steel with a laser. A kid in my laser class liked them so munch. He had me cut one out for his mom. I know I should go over to his place on mothers day. Then ask how she likes my gift. If you want one or two Raider. We could figure out some thing. So I could ship you down one. They are about 20 inches when welded together. Then about 3 1/2 wide from the tip of the leaf to the middle of the flower.

ironically, got my mom a new abu garcia cardinal fishing combo. it was her idea, so it made things simple, she has already used it too. yeah i gave it to her early because she wanted to go fishing and didnt want to use her old lightweight shimano combo. i will probably end up taking her out for breakfast or lunch that day, and maybe buy her a flower or tree of her choice which is the usual gift...

I bought my mom and wife plane tickets to arizona for mothers day weekend... It just so happens to be MN fishing opener weekend... WIN WIN...

Raider I got one of the Flowers painted and welded up. I will post a pic of what it looks like welded and painted later today. So if you don't like the way I welded it. I will see if I can weld it a different way.
