Just ordered a bunch of Malta Dredge brush jigs.  I have to say I love how you can customize your jigs, from head color to the skirt color to the living rubber color.  Its so refreshing having a say in how your baits looks compared to walking into the local big box and grabbing whatever is on the shelf.

 

Now I'm anxious for them to show up at my front door.  I've never used living rubber jigs before, I'm assuming they'll be good in the pre-spawn when the water is cooler.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Those Matta Dredge Brush are my favorite jigs. I love how they look, but the way they catch fish is what keeps me buying them. I have not at this point (knock on wood) had a fish throw one of the dredge jigs. Im sure itll happen eventually, but Ive caught a lot of fish on them with zero losses so far....

Used my first ever Siebert jig and lost my first ever Siebert jig yesterday. Dredge Brush Bama craw with a green pumpkin rage craw. Didn't catch anything, but It moves flawlessly. Then it got hung up in some rocks and lost it.

It got stuck only a few feet from where I was standing, but just out of reach. I couldn't find anything to wedge and move the rocks. Guess I'll have to order some football jigs.

Buy two or more of each one you order incase you lose one.

But once you see Mr Mike's quality jigs you will buy more I did over and over. And I still need more.

The Mata Dredge Brush jigs are spectacular. They're almost impossible to hang. I throw them in some awful stuff and never stick them. I like the thicker skirts too, I think the more strands make a more tempting jig or something because it works.

 

Mike's made me some custom color jigs that I should have in a couple days. I'll post a thread with pictures of them when I get them. I'll just say this, it's a color combination that isn't seen too often, but might be overlooked.
